Former Pro Golfer Paige Spiranac Still Practices and Plays

Paige Spiranac may no longer be competing on the professional golf tour, but that doesn't mean she has stopped practicing and playing the sport she loves. The American retired from competitive golf in 2016 but remains deeply involved in the game.

Now 28, Spiranac has grown a massive social media following while sharing glimpses into her daily life. With millions of fans online, she posts regular updates on her training regimen as well as footage from recreational rounds on the course.

While she stepped away from tournament play years ago, Spiranac told Men's Journal that practicing and competing, even at an amateur level, is still a big part of her routine. Golf provided some of her greatest experiences and she wants to stay engaged with the sport.

"There are two types of people in this world: people who love to practice and the people who love to play and compete. I am in that first group," she said. "I love practicing. There is nothing more that I enjoy than going to the range for hours and just beating golf balls, chipping, putting. I live for that, and I've always enjoyed that, and I never really enjoyed competing and playing."

These days, Spiranac spends much of her time in front of the camera as a model and social influencer. But she maintains her golf game and enjoys battling friends on local courses whenever she gets the chance. The game may look different now, but her love for it remains.
