Kent, OH - A routine Father's Day golf outing took a violent turn at Raccoon Hill Golf Club on Sunday when six men engaged in an all-out brawl on the course.

Cell phone video captured by witness Kiradech Aphibarn and posted to social media shows several men aggressively throwing punches and tackling each other in the middle of the fairway.

According to onlookers commenting on the scene, the altercation appeared to have been sparked by a disagreement over a four-foot putt for the match. "4 footer for the match wasn’t given and the guy airballed it," Aphibarn later explained on Twitter.

In the video, one combatant can be heard pleading for others to "cut it out" as the brawl wears on. Multiple people are seen lying in the grass as others rain down blows.

“Look at this s–t,” one onlooker says. “What the f–k is going on here?”

“Holy s–t,” exclaimed another.

“Whole f–king brawl,” the first onlooker said, before providing some play-by-play action. “Look at this, they’re beating him down. Guy’s got his shirt over his head. Look at this .. ooh, took him down!”

Local police were called to Raccoon Hill Golf Club to break up the melee and restore order. However, it's unclear if any charges were filed against those involved.

The violent skirmish put a stark end to what was supposed to be a leisurely Father's Day golf outing. While most families spent the holiday bonding over the sport, this group used it as an opportunity to engage in fisticuffs apparently sparked by a missed four-foot putt.

Their behavior was a far cry from serving as a good example to any children they may have had in tow. It remains to be seen if the golf club takes action to ban those involved from the course going forward.
